In 1996 Citizens was sold to Meridian Insurance Group where Bill was selected as the Senior Executive Operations Officer with ultimate responsibility for the newly acquired Citizens Security Group.

Bill's executive experience was his inspiration to find a high-level leadership position. In 1998, he joined BancInsure, Inc. as its President and Chief Executive Officer. As an Oklahoma City based company, they served the nation's community banks with fidelity bonds, director's and officer's liability insurance as well as various property and casualty lines of insurance. In 2006, under Bill's leadership, the company's reached its highest level of financial strength. During Bill's eight year tenure with the company sales tripled and its capital grew 146%.

Establishing new financial heights, in early 2007, Bill left the company realizing his entrepreneurial spirit. He chose to pursue endeavors less dependent on weather and more entrepreneurial in nature. During his search, mutual friends of Bill and Chip repeatedly told the pair, "you two need to get together." From there, a meeting was set and 30 minutes later, the idea to start a new subrogation company (Advanced Subrogation Resources – AnSR) was born. Leveraging Bill's insurance expertise with Chip and Richard's CMR platform was a natural fit.

With AnSR off the ground; Chip, Richard and Bill decided to merge the two companies and lead them in partnership. Bill's role in the partnership is affectionately known as the "outside guy" focusing on customer relations, business development and acquisition, and sales.

Bill enjoys outdoor activities including bird hunting with his son, George, and their two labs. He also competes in working cow-horse horse shows with his daughter, Becca. To stay in shape Bill plays ice hockey (attempting to keep up with the young guys) and he loves traveling with his wife Nancy.
